Extension 4-H Youth Agent
Elizabeth Wells is been a 4-H Youth Agent in Ottawa County since 1985. She has a Ph.D. in Agriculture and Extension Education from MSU. Her research interests are in self directed work groups, and in the use of technology in Extension education. She is a member of the MSU chapter of the Phi Kappa Phi honor society. Liz serves on the MSU Companion Animal Committee and serves many counties as a judge for 4-H dog project showmanship, obedience and agility shows and teaches numerous workshops on dog showmanship. She also has taught regional workshops on the use of technolgy in 4-H clubs and using the interenet to find resources for local 4-H clubs. In addition, Liz teaches Extension staff methods for the development and design of surveys for research and program evaluation. She is web master for the Michigan Association of Extension 4-H Staff and also maintains several other web sites for herself and various organizations.
